MOPS: Mothers of Preschoolers

The First Assembly MOPS program meets in the evening! Our MOPS Program runs October through May on the first and third Monday of each month at 6:30pm. For registration dates or more information, call the church office at (989) 799-9535

MOPS is a time for mothers of babies and pre-schoolers to get out of the house and be together to share their joys and frustrations. We provide time for growth through presented topics that meet the women where they are right now in their lives. The women also let their creative side come out with a craft they complete each meeting. The moms are assigned mentors, who are seasoned Christian women who can relate to mother hood and all its challenges.

Our MOPS group has been successful because it is underwritten financially by our home church, First Assembly, and supported in prayer by the leadership staff, who have a love for mothers, understanding they have an important place in our Church Family.

MOPS Director, Jennifer Forester, has been asked to share at both the Regional and National Conventions in 2003, because of Saginaw First Assembly’s unmatched success with our “Night MOPS” program. Jennifer states, “I am humbled by the opportunity and have great expectations that God is doing a great work in our MOPS group and all the groups around the world.” We give God the glory for the success of our program!
